Beauty spending is easier to manage when you separate replacing something you use from trying something new. A budget does not have to remove the fun. It can simply show how much room you have before you add a second shade or another delivery charge.

Give each purchase a job

Use three labels: replace, improve, and experiment. A replacement is an item you have finished and want again. An improvement solves a specific problem in your routine. An experiment is something you are curious about. All three can belong in your budget, but they do not need the same priority.

Calculate the spend before you click

Enter your own planned amounts below. The calculator adds purchases and delivery, then compares that total with your monthly limit. If the result is negative, the plan is above your limit. These fields are a personal planning tool; they are not quoted retailer prices and are not sent to Lasheslux.

Estimate a replacement allowance

If you know approximately how long an item lasts in your own routine, divide its cost by that number of months. A R240 item that you personally use over three months suggests an R80 monthly allowance for that replacement. This is a planning example, not a recommendation about product lifespan or expiry; always follow the product's storage and use instructions.

Make delivery visible

Small orders can hide a large delivery cost relative to the products. Combine purchases only when doing so suits your actual needs. If you spend R150 extra to avoid a smaller shipping charge, you have still spent more overall. Treat free-shipping thresholds as a comparison point rather than a target.

Keep a one-in, one-out experiment list

When a new find catches your eye, save it to your beauty bag rather than buying immediately. Check whether it duplicates something you own. If you still want it after comparing the texture, colour and delivered cost, give it a place in your experiment amount.

The most useful result is not a perfect number. It is a clear view of what you intend to buy and the trade-offs you are comfortable making this month.
